THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL
OKIKUKAI SEMINAR IN SERBIA
BELGRADE (26th September ~ 1st October 2000)

For the first time after 27 years since the karate system of "tiger, crane and dragoon" practices in Serbia, the seminar was held and conducted by Okinawan Masters of the highest ranks:
• Takamiyagi Shigeru, Hanshi 9 Dan
• Higa Toshio, Kyoshi 8 Dan
• Machida Soukei, Renshi 6 Dan, and
• Machida Hatsuko, Jun-shihan 4 Dan

Although this manifestation was held in the same time with big political changes and instabilities in Serbia, Okinawan Masters came, held the seminar and on that way significantly enabled further development of the OKIKUKAI in this area.
On the seminar more than 50 participants of OKIKUKAI from Serbia, Greece & Srpska Republic, as well as the guests from the other karate styles was participated.
Training hold from 26 until 30 September (two times per day, two and half hours per each) in Sport's Hall "Pionir" in Belgrade.

The Promotional Examination for Dan-ranks were held at 1st October and seven candidates successfully passed the testing (five members of the OKIKUKAI Serbia Hombu and two members of the OKIKUKAI Greece).

Sayonara party was hold in Hotel "N" in Vozdovac community of the city of Belgrade.
