UECHI-RYU OKINAWA KARATEDO SEMINAR

Organized by Mr. Palumbo Gaetano (Jun-shihan 4th Dan), Instructor of the OKIKUKAI KUROOBI-KAI DOJO from Milin, a three-days UECHI-RYU SEMINAR was held, led by Popović Vladimir (Kyoshi 8th Dan)..
The seminar consisted of four sessions of an intensive training program lasting a total of nine hours. In addition to members of the Dojo from Milan, the seminar was also attended by members of the Dojo from Pesaro led by Carrari Stefano (Jun-shihan 4th Dan) and karatekas from Alexandria. Testing for Kyu-ranks was also held at the seminar, and three practitioners from Pesaro and Milan were promoted to higher ranks.
It was a real pleasure to see the enthusiasm and commitment of the seminar participants.

A SPECIAL UECHI-RYU KARATE-DO SEMINAR (preparation for rank testing) organized by UECHI-RYU KUROOBI-KAI from Italy, led by Palumbo Gaetano, Jun-shihan 4 Dan, was held in Milano (June 13-16, 2025). The seminar was conducted by Popović Vladimir, Kyoshi 8 Dan.
At the end of the seminar, tests for Kyu and Dan ranks were held.
The following candidates were promoted to higher Dan ranks:

At the invitation of Mr. Georgiou George, who leads the "Herculean" Martial Arts Dojo, Popović Vladimir, Kyoshi 8 Dan, held an UECHI-RYU KARATE-DO SEMINAR from June 6 to 9, 2025.
The "Herculean" Martial Arts Dojo has a long tradition. It was founded in 1993 and is located in the Greek capital of Athens, in the municipality of Marathon, in the town of Nea Makri.
Mr. Georgiou and his six senior students: Klisarchakis Dimitris, Chatzakis Alexandros, Kolyga Panagiota, Lyras George, Gioulekas Konstantinos and Anastasaki Barbara, expressed their desire to practice the Uechi-ryu system. This was their first encounter with our Karate-do style.
The seminar was very successful and we hope to continue our cooperation with Mr. Georiou.
